What Should You Pack?
Your checklist for the weekend
Must have
Towels, wedding attire, comfortable shoes, a light jacket for the evenings, yoga mat ( if you have more than one mat at home, please bring them as well), sporty clothes for the morning yoga session, toiletries.
Nice to have
Feel free to bring some food or drinks to share for Friday’s BBQ – we’ll be cooking together and everyone’s welcome to contribute - salads, breads, and other things you'd like to grill:)
Swimsuit, reusable water bottle, pocket mirror, sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellent, flashlight or headlamp
Optional
Beach/board games. Snacks to keep you comfortable during your stay – on Saturday there’ll be plenty of food, but on Friday we won’t start grilling until after 6 PM, so it’s good to have a little something on hand before then!

The closest airports to Lgiń are:
Poznań–Ławica Airport (POZ): Approximately 95 km (1 hour 30 minutes by car)
Wrocław–Copernicus Airport (WRO): Approximately 120 km (1 hour 40 minutes by car)
If you fly to Poznan, we'll try to match you up with other guests who have space in their car.
P.S. If you're our friend from Austria - just hop on a train! Vienna → Katowice → Leszno → Wschowa.
Here’s what we’ll provide for our guests:
Friday: An evening barbecue that we'll cook together. We will provide the basics, feel free to bring more things you'd like to eat on a Friday night!
Saturday: Breakfast, lunch, and 3 dinners :)
Sunday: Breakfast.
Remember your childhood summer camp experience? It's going to be just like that ;)
This wedding location is a scout camp near the village of Lgiń, surrounded by forest and close to a lake. It’s truly a retreat, so you’ll be spending the whole weekend with other guests in the heart of nature.
We’re providing accommodation in wooden cabins, which you’ll be sharing with fellow guests. Most huts come with warm water and toilets. A couple of cabins have shared summer camp-style bathrooms a few steps away.
Since it’s a two-day wedding, we expect our guests to arrive between 2:00-3:00 PM on Friday. We have activities planned to help everyone get to know each other and kick off the weekend.
If you’d like, feel free to come a bit earlier to enjoy a walk in the forest, take a swim in the lake, or even go for a bike ride (if you bring your bicycles).
If you can’t make it on Friday, please let us know in advance.
Since we’ll be celebrating our wedding away from home, we kindly ask that you consider gifts that are small or can easily fit in an envelope for easier transport. Thank you for your understanding!
And don’t worry about the flowers—we’ll be surrounded by nature ;)
Wear something beautiful – whatever you'd normally choose for a wedding! There's no strict theme, so feel free to express your style. We just recommend bringing comfortable shoes (for dancing and moving around) and a light jacket in case the evening gets chilly.
Heads-up for the ladies: If you’re planning to wear heels, just be aware that they may sink into the grass or sand.
Just a quick heads-up: the accommodation is modest and simple, but we hope it adds to the charm! 😊
Bed sheets will be provided, so no need to bring your own.
Each hut has a small fridge if you need to keep anything cool.
There are no mirrors in the huts, so feel free to bring a pocket mirror. A few tall mirrors will be available in the common areas for getting ready, outfit checks, and last-minute glam moments!

Asia is Pawel’s big sister, and she volunteered to help us with the wedding planning! She lives in Wschowa, not far from the wedding location, with her husband, Maciej, and their two kiddos, Janek and Stasiu.
Lina

Lina is the Maid of Honor and has been Maya's friend for over 10 years. She and Maya shared a dorm room while studying in Krakow. Now, Lina lives in Germany with her husband, Philip.

Marcin has been Pawel’s friend for over 20 years (yes, Pawel’s that old!). Not only is Marcin Best Man, but he’ll also be officiating the wedding!
